With the anticipated grand opening of the MGM City Center Project set for late 2009, interest in Las Vegas high rise condo properties is re-igniting. Construction on the the Cosmopolitan Resort Hotel and Casino is still continuing, but Deutsche Bank has now acquired the project from the original developer, Bruce Eichner, and sales have been temporarily put on hold. There are several class action lawsuits in progress as the anticipated opening has been delayed by a couple of years. At completion, Deutsche Bank will announce the Cosmopolitan's future direction.
